Spring 2025 Cleaning Check Schedule
Checkout Sign-up: | July 16th: Last day to sign-up your apartment for a Final Check-out Inspection. |
Checkout Week: | July 23rd-25th (Wednesday-Friday). Final Check-out (white-glove) Inspection. |
Parking Over the Break: | The only vehicles that should be in the ParkView parking lot during the break are residents with a break contract or a next semester contract. Any other vehicles will be subject to towing and associated fees. |
Contract Termination: | All Spring 2025 Contracts end July 25th (Friday), at 6:00 PM |
Apartment Switch: | From 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26th to 7:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28th, those with Summer break contracts move over to their Summer break apartments. |

Don’t be caught off guard! Check your clean check dates (they’re online). Mark your calendar and stay ahead of the game. -
Read Your Dang Emails.
Don’t miss those reminders. We’re literally sending you the cheat codes—use them. -
Team Up with Your Roomies.
Kick off the semester with a team huddle. Split up the chores early in the semester. Set a plan, stick to it, and don’t be the one who flakes out. -
Be THAT Roommate.
The reliable one. If it’s your job—OWN IT. No passing the mop. Everyone does their part, no excuses. -

Waiting till the night before = stress and regret. Knock out little messes as they come. You’ll thank yourself later. -

Mattress Cover Check: Wrap It Up or Get Charged
Your mattress deserves protection—and no, a flimsy pad doesn’t cut it.

You need a legit Twin mattress cover—one that fully wraps around the whole thing. No shortcuts.

Don’t have one by the first clean check? Boom. We’ll give you one, and you’ll see a $20 charge on your account.

Contract Dates:

When do Approved Housing contracts end?
All contracts end at 6 p.m. on the day specified in the contract, usually the last day of finals week. -
Can I stay past the contract end date?
No. If there are extenuating circumstances, they must be discussed with the Manager in advance and will be subject to a daily rate. -
I have a next semester contract. When can I move in?
You can move into your next semester apartment on the day specified in the contract. Early move-ins must be approved by a manager prior to moving in and will be subject to a $20 daily rate. Please refer to your contract for further information regarding move-ins. -
Can I pay a fee to check in early to ParkView?
No. Early move-in exceptions are rare and need approval from the manager.

When should I expect to see my security deposit returned to my account?
You should expect to see your security deposit returned within 30 days of the contract end date. -
What should I do with the command strips that I put up on my wall?
You are responsible for carefully removing command strips. If you damage the paint, you will be charged a maintenance fee. -
I can’t find my mail key, what should I do?
If keys are not returned within 30 days of the contract end date, you will be charged a $10 mail key replacement fee.
Checking Out:

Do I need to leave on the same day as my checkout cleaning assignment?
No. You can stay until 6:00 p.m. on the date specified in your contract. -
I have a mail key. What am I supposed to do with it?
Mail keys should be left on the hook above the fire extinguisher in the apartment or returned to the desk during office hours before checkout. -
Can I have overnight guests during checkout, and check-in week?
No. Per the contract, no overnight guests are allowed during these periods.
Final Clean Check:

Will I be able to have a re-check if I fail my checkout?
No rechecks are allowed for your final clean check. -
If I am leaving before checkouts, do I still have to do a checkout?
Yes! Notify your manager at least 72 hours before you leave or else you may be subject to a $35 cleaning charge. -
Can I switch cleaning job assignments with a roommate?
No, you will not be able to switch assignments with a roommate.

Oven Cleaner ($7–8):
For those times when your gooey apple filling bubbles over or the pizza toppings slide off into the oven. Cleaning it can be one of the toughest chores. -
4–6 Cloth Rags ($4–6):
Machine washable and reusable. -
Vinegar ($1–2):
This humble hero handles your shower head, stovetop, dishwasher—and battles hard water buildup like a champ. -
Magic Erasers ($2–6):
Works well for wall stains and tubs and showers. -
Multipurpose Cleaner ($3–6):
For every surface from sinks to vanities to bathroom mysteries. Spray it like you mean it. -
Pumice Stone ($2–3):
Perfect for tubs, sinks & toilets as long as they are porcelain. But listen: DO NOT touch the toilet seat with this. Ever. -
Toilet Brush ($4–6):
Scrub inside the toilet. You know the drill. -
Toilet Bowl Cleaner ($4–6):
Team up with the brush. Show that bowl who’s boss. -
Soft Scrub, Ajax or Comet ($1–2):
Old-school scrub power for tubs and showers. Lather it up! -
Baking Soda ($0.50–2):
Mix it with vinegar and boom—hard water buildup, gone. -
Non-Scratch Sponges ($3–6):
For scrubbing without ruining stuff. Gentle but fierce. -
Cleaner/Degreaser ($10–15):
Multi-purpose solvent cuts grime, dirt and oily debris.
